Alpha Accommodations vision is to help preserve the natural beauty of British Columbia. It is important to us that we are using existing homes, and that we are opening up these homes and our communities for both vacation rentals and corporate rentals. Together, with our homeowners, we make it possible for you to enjoy the beauty of our communities in the Victoria area and Vancouver Island.

Whether you are coming to enjoy a cottage by the ocean or a house by the lake or you are relocating here we have accommodations that will suit your needs. We work closely with our homeowners to ensure that your needs are met. We meet you at the accommodation and hand you the keys as well as provide you with a brief orientation of the home and its location so that you don’t have to spend time finding things yourself.

Many of our vacationing clients and seniors return each year. We look forward to welcoming them back and reacquainting ourselves with them again. Whether you stay three nights or 60 days you receive the same service and attention to detail.
Our business clients and extended stay guests are enjoying the convenience of our furnished condos, homes and suites. Our corporate and extended stay discounts can provide you with affordable home-style accommodations. By staying over 60 days you will automatically save 17% off the total price.

Included in our rates (short-term or long-term):
- You are welcomed at the accommodation and provided with a brief orientation of the home and surrounding area
- Our homes are all Five Star clean
- All of our homes have full kitchens (most include microwaves and dishwashers
- We provide you with the amenities of home: VCR/DVD and Tier 3 cable many also have high speed internet, just to list a few
- You receive free local calls
- Our homes all provide you with ample quality linens and towels
- Our homeowners provide you with hand soap, dish and laundry detergent and toilet paper that are supplied for the duration of the rental (short-term or long-term rentals)
- To make it easier on you, we provide weekly linen service for those accommodations that don’t have in home laundry
- Monthly cleans are provided so you don’t have to spend your time cleaning while working or at play (daily and weekly upon request at an additional charge)
- Emergency service is provided and we welcome the chance to improve your stay!
- Indoor washing line and other clothes drying options.
Licenses, Taxes and Insurance
We are licensed with the Registrar of Travel Services (3739). We maintain our yearly business license with the City of Victoria. We collect all taxes on any booking, which we make on behalf of our homeowners, for 60 days or less. These taxes include Provincial Room Tax (8%), Municipal Room Tax (0-2%), and GST (7% on our portion and 7% on behalf of homeowners that have a GST number).
All of our homeowners are required to have the proper insurance stating that they are using their homes as a vacation rental (we require it on their insurance policy). Most of our bookings are 60+ days, but the rentals are still considered to be vacation rentals.
